Tennessee Career
2021–2022 · LB
Young's path to Tennessee ran through junior college after a year away from football working at Dollar General. Once on Rocky Top, he racked up a team-best seven sacks and 37 tackles (12 for loss) in 2022 en route to first-team All-SEC honors.

2023 Draft · 3rd round, pick 77 · Los Angeles Rams
The Rams drafted Young in the third round (77th overall) in 2023. He's developed into a rotational edge/outside linebacker piece in Los Angeles's front seven.
