A two-year Vol after transferring from Ohio State, Okpara anchored Tennessee's interior defense, finishing second in program history in career blocks per game (1.59) — the most ever by a two-year Volunteer — and setting the school record for blocks in a single NCAA Tournament (13). In his final season he averaged 8.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks while shooting 59.7% from the field.
