The whole formula
Printed in full, because a score nobody can check is worth nothing. Every number comes from the game's official box score.
- Passing yard+0.04

- Interception thrown-2
- Rushing yard+0.1
- Rushing TD+6
- Catch+0.5
- Receiving yard+0.1
- Receiving TD+6
- Tackle+1

- Sack+3
- Pass broken up+1.5
- QB hurry+1
- Interception+6
- Pick six+6
- Fumble recovered+3
- Fumble lost-2
Totals are summed straight across the seven slots. A quarterback's points and a cornerback's are not the same currency, but every entry fills the same seven slots, so the difference shifts everyone equally and changes no ranking.
A player who did not record a stat scores zero, and the row says so. Crediting him with something he did in an earlier game would reward picking someone who never took a snap.
Defensive line covers ends, tackles and edge rushers together, and defensive back covers corners and safeties, because the roster feed does not record which side of a front or secondary a player lines up on. Guessing is the only alternative.
